  • How do I create a new seating plan?
    Create a classroom seating chart in seconds | The easiest way is to follow the on-screen tutorial that will appear if you haven't yet created a seating plan. Either click the 'Seating Plans' tile on the dashboard, or choose 'Seating Plans' from the toolbar on the left of your screen. Click 'Create a new seating plan'.   • What is the student waiting area?
    When a new student is added to a class list, that student will be automatically added to your seating plans for that class, too.   • How do I share a seating plan with a colleague?

  • How do I add photos to my seating plans?
    || Photographs on seating plans are available to all users on Silver, Gold or Platinum plans. Photographs are automatically imported for those on the Platinum (UK) plan, so these instructions do not apply.     Seating Plan allows you to sort your students either by their target grade or their current grade ||| In order for these settings to be available to you, you must first have columns called "Target grade" and/or "Current grade"*, otherwise Mega Seating Plan will not know which columns contain grade data. To enable the sorting, click the 'Rearrange' button on the sidebar, select 'Arrange students by grades', then choose whether you wish to use their current or target grade.     The data fields are intended for small amounts of text, such as grades, SEN codes etc. There is not space to display large chunks of text directly on the seats.   • How do I get gender colour codes to appear?
    Gender colour coding can be toggled on/off on your seating plan. Schools with a Platinum or Gold subscription can change the colour scheme or turn off gender colour coding altogether. To ensure that genders are picked up for your students, your class' 'Gender' column should have the following data (not case sensitive: For male students: "M", "Male" or "Boy" For female students: "F", "Female" or "Girl" Any other values will assign the student as gender neutralFew readers

  • How do I recover a deleted seating plan?
    || Deleted rooms and seating plans are sent to a recycle bin. After 30 days they are permanently deleted.
