How do I create a new room?

| This guide is for the new v2 rooms. To customise desk numbers in v1 rooms, click here. By default, the desk numbers are populated incrementally from bottom-left to top-right. It is easy to add your own custom desk numbers, which could be useful for allocating computers or other equipment to students. On the 'Edit room' page, double-click on any seating position.

For new v2 rooms, click here. || If you are a teacher at a Platinum or Gold school and have made your seating plan using a classroom that another teacher has created, only they (or an administrator) will be able to follow the steps below. From the top menu, click 'Rooms' and select the classroom you want to edit.

How do I delete a classroom?
||| Warning: Deleting a classroom will delete all seating plans linked to that room. || Deleted a plan by mistake? If your school has a whole-school subscription (Platinum or Gold) an administrator from your school can restore it from the recycle bin within 30 days. There are two ways to delete an unwanted classroom: On the home page, click the checkbox next to the classrooms you would like to delete, followed by the 'Delete selected' button. . | If your classroom does have too much empty space, make sure the 'Reduce gaps' toggle on the seating plan toolbar is switched on.
