Can I customise the desk numbers?
This article is relevant to any users on the Silver, Gold or Platinum tiers. If you're on the Bronze plan and would like to customise your desk numbers, please upgrade.
By default, the desk numbers are populated incrementally from bottom-left to top-right. With a paid plan it is easy to add your own custom desk numbers, which could be useful for allocating computers or other equipment to students.
On the 'Edit classroom' page, click the link in the instruction box to activate desk numbering mode.
Click in one of the input boxes that now appears over a desk and type in the desk number (or letters or symbols: limited to two characters).
Save your classroom.
Now, when you toggle the 'Show desk numbers' button on your seating plans, your custom desk numbers will be displayed.
