Why can't I rotate desks 90 degrees? (v1)

Desk rotation is available to any user on a paid plan. Click here for instructions.
Desks in Mega Seating Plan are all square. This means that if you rotate a desk through 90 degrees, the only effect is the text will be rotated through 90 degrees. This makes your seating plan harder to read, which is why only rotations through smaller angles are allowed.
