How do I share a homework assignment with students?
Mega Seating Plan makes it easy to share homework tasks with students, whether you want them to record it digitally or using pen-and-paper.
Option #1: Sharing in-class
The easiest way to share a homework task with your students is to choose the 'Display homework to students' option.

When you click this, a new window will open with a clear layout to help students to write down their homework assignment.

Here are some of the key features on the page:
- 'Go full screen'. Click this to instantly maximise the view so that students can see the homework task better.
- Due date. In big red letters that students can't miss.
- Title of homework.
- Instructions.
- hwk.lol link. This is a unique and easy to write tiny URL that takes students straight to a page containing all the information and resources about the homework assignment.
- QR code. Alternatively, if your students have access to devices in class, they can scan the QR code to reach the same page.
- Attachments and links. A summary of the attachments and links that are available for students on the hwk.lol link.
So once you've set your homework assignment, just show them this page and ask them to write down the hwk.lol link (or scan the QR code). All the info and resources they will need are on the hwk.lol link:

Option #2: Share by email
Click the 'Email to students' button to instantly draft a new message in your default email tool:

Simply paste your students' email addresses in the to or BCC fields to instantly share the instructions, and the link to resources, with all your students.
Option #3: Share to Google Classroom or Microsoft Teams
If your class is linked to Google Classroom or Microsoft Teams, you will have an extra option.

Click the 'Sync with Google Classroom/Microsoft Teams' button. A new tab will open and you may be prompted to sign in to your Google/Microsoft account and/or approve permissions.
Once complete, the assignment, including a link to the hwk.lol page, will instantly be shared with students via Classroom or Teams.
