# How do I put my classes and seating plans into folders?

|| If you have a lot of classes, putting them in folders can make it easier to find the right one.

| Folders are created and managed on the [Classes dashboard](https://www.seatingplan.com/classes), with the same folder structure applied automatically on the [Seating Plans dashboard](https://www.seatingplan.com/plans).

1. Go to your [Classes dashboard](https://www.seatingplan.com/classes). If you haven't previously used folders, all of your classes will be in an 'Unfiled' folder.

2. In the top-right corner, click 'New folder'.

3. Enter a name for your folder and click 'Create folder'.

4. Drag and drop class tiles into the new folder.
