How do I arrange my seating plans into Smart Groups?

Students assigned to Smart Groups can be automatically arranged into those groups on your seating plan


If you haven't already created Smart Groups for the class, follow these instructions first.



  1. Click the 'Rearrange' on the seating plan toolbar.


  1. In the dropdown menu for 'Group students by:', select the group set you'd like students to sit in.

  1. Select any other settings, then click 'Regenerate seating plan'. Note that Smart Groups take priority over most other settings.


  1. Your students will be arranged on the seating plan into their groups. It might not be perfect, so drag and drop to make any final adjustments.
