# How do I add notes?

|| If your school has centrally set notes for any students in this class, the notes column on the Edit Class page will be disabled

1. Go to the Edit Class page and select the desired class.
2. In the final column (labelled 'Notes') enter the text you would like to attach to a student.

3. On your seating plans, those students with notes will appear with a little paperclip. Click this to view the notes.
