# How can I change the name of my seating plan?

By default, seating plans are named after their associated class and classroom. However, you can easily give a seating plan a custom name.

1. When viewing your seating plan, click on the name of the seating plan.

2. In the text box, enter your custom name.
3. Click anywhere outside the text box to save your new name.
